What is HELM?

HELM is our control panel providing a high end clustered server environment. This gives much greater reliability as each web hosting process is provided by a separate server, thus spreading the load.

Our HELM cluster consists of the following servers:

Main HELM Control Server (control panel)
Control SQL server (SQL backend for control panel)
Webservers (hosts all domains, more webservers added as required)
Client SQL server (provides SQL for websites)
Client MySQL server (provides MySQL for websites)
Mail Server (POP, SMTP and Webmail)
FTP and SmarterStats Server
DNS1 Server (Primary DNS server, automatically updates Secondary DNS server)
DNS2 Server (Secondary DNS server to ensure web and mail uptime should DNS1 be down for any reason)
DNS3 Server (Third DNS server to ensure web and mail uptime should DNS1 and 2 be down for any reason)

You login into it via http://helm.mydomain
